Great American
All Work So You Can Play
Founder David Celani created what was then Great American Billiards in 1990. President of D&D Cabinets, David still continues the coin-op cabinet manufacturing business he started in 1979. The progression to Great American Billiards sprung from the success of D&D and both co-exist happily in the 65,000-sq. ft. building in Rhode Island. In 1997, the name was changed to Great American Recreation Equipment to reflect our expanding product lineup which has been growing steadily. The headquarters of Great American houses business, engineering, R&D, service and repair departments, as well as a state-of-the-art manufacturing division. The latter comes fully equipped with computerized cutting and routing equipment to ensure that all our products meet our quality standards.
Great American Recreation Equipment, Inc. is a company that is dedicated to serving the needs of the operator. From the design of our cornerstone pool tables, through the manufacturing process, we have always maintained the philosophy that the operators needs come first.
